Public Transportation

Satellite Beach is served by Space Coast Area Transit, also known as 321 Transit. The city’s principal service is the Route 26 South Beach bus/trolley, which provides transportation through Satellite Beach and connections to other beachside communities and the wider Brevard County transit network. The city reports that public transportation operates approximately 7:30 a.m.–7:20 p.m. on weekdays and 8:30 a.m.–6:25 p.m. on Saturdays, with no regular Sunday service. 

The standard bus or trolley fare is $1.50 per ride, with a 75-cent reduced fare available to qualifying seniors, students, military personnel and riders with disabilities. Ten-ride and 30-day passes are also available, and transfers are free. 

Passengers can use the 321 Transit website or mobile app to locate nearby stops, plan journeys, view schedules and follow buses in real time. Vehicles are accessible and include mobility lifts and bicycle racks. 

Residents who cannot independently use regular buses may qualify for ADA or Transportation Disadvantaged paratransit. Satellite Beach also participates in Volunteers in Motion, which helps eligible residents reach medical appointments, grocery stores and other essential destinations.
